Jesus Is Enough

Part of the trap: Thinking that I need to perform for the blessing to be released. This puts all the pressure on me to do something--many times not knowing what--for God to give. Ultimately my faith becomes a work, a commodity, a currency that I try to use in exchange for His promises.

Faith is persuasion of what has already taken place, not some form of spiritual gymnastics to twist God's arm. Faith is a rest in the integrity and love of God. His Word is true and Jesus is enough. Whenever I feel that sense of lack, I come back to the promise of Jesus and HIs finished work. Jesus is enough and His Word is true. I can be satisfied with that.

When you are faced with lack, be it in your finances, circumstances, or emotions, I would like to encourage you that Jesus in you is enough. He has never left or forsaken you, and is with you in the midst of what you are dealing with. Use your imagination and the positive affirmaitons of His promises. Remain grateful that you have all things and see yourself living in your promise. When you feel it, you will keep it.
