Deona Miller

I was born and raised in Columbus, Ms. I have been blessed with being raised in an awesome Christian home. God spared my life at the age of 2 years old. With a great Christian Mother that knew how to pray, God raised me up.

I received Christ as my Personal Savior on September 13, 1990, when I was in the second grade. I was so fortunate to be able to go to Immanuel Center for Christian Education from K-5 through 12th grade. I work at Columbus Municipal Credit Union as the Member Service Representative. I have been there since March of 2008.

Throughout all my life, God has always been there for me no matter what the situation was. One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, ”plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” That verse has definitely ministered to me in several situations of my life.

I started attending CCC in September of 2001. I have grown so much in Christ. I love working with KFC, the Fuel Youth, and the S.W.A.T. Team because I have such a desire to reach this young generation and see them grow strong in God. These kids come from all different backgrounds and one thing I want them to know is that no matter where life takes them they can truly rely on God. He will always be there for them.
